PTO

At CCCA, we are extremely fortunate to have active and involved parents, as well as our community.  CCCA's dedicated PTO provides many services and support for our school.  This organization is dedicated to promoting and supporting the students, staff, and curriculum of Canoe Creek Charter Academy. Our partners in Education and friends in the local business community also lend their support regularly.  We believe that the involvement of parents and other community members for Canoe Creek Charter Academy is an important element in providing an excellent education for our students.  The responsibility for ensuring that our children are prepared for the future is one that must be shared.  We welcome volunteers to assist in the school and invite friends in the business community who want to be involved to participate in the Partners in Education program.  For information about becoming involved with the Canoe Creek Charter family, we welcome your call and/or visit to our school. 

• To provide a means of ongoing and organized communication between parents and staff. 
• To enrich students' educational experience by providing programs and activities for students and their families. 
• To offer opportunities for parents and community members to become involved in the educations of our youth.

The Executive Board of our PTO is comprised of five elected officers, the school principal, one teacher liaison, and the chairpersons of standing committees.  The majority of the organization's business is conducted at the Executive Board meetings,  which are held a few days prior to the General meeting, or as needed.

Additional committees are formed as needed to organize special activities or to address new issues.

All are welcome to attend and participate in the General Meetings which are held quarterly at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria or in the media center.  This gives parents a chance to learn more about PTO activities and other events in the school or the school system and to ask questions or voice opinions about issues of concern. 

Parents, Guardians and Staff members of CCCA are invited to join the PTO and become voting members. Annual dues are $3.00 per individual or $5.00 per family. Contact any PTO member above for more details.
